Network test bed lab with cisco routers,wireless LAN devices,link and traffic emulaters and several reconfigurable PCs;ERNET network operations centre; protocol engineering & testing software.Wireless Communication and networks lab with facilities such as OPNET simulation,miniature wireless smart sensor devices, digital signal generator, laptops, PCs, OMAP development kit, Wi Fi access pointer and NIC cards.
Speech and audio lab with facility for real-time multichannel audio processing using RME sound cards and Yamaha mixer.VArious speech data bases, noise databases, and music instrument databases. Biomedical lab with facilities for recording and processing of ECG and EEG signals.Wireless Sensor Network lab with facility for real-time signal processing experiments with t1 code composer studio + fine EVMs based on c62xx and C67xx DSPs.The lab has special facilities for wireless sensor signal processing : (1) 3GHz spectrum analyzer, (2) RF transciever boards, (3) WiFi access points/cards, (4) wirelss camera, (5) RFID transponders, (6) GPS kits, (7) MEMS accelerometer chips.

Applied Photonics Laboratory
Design software for intergrated optics (Optiwave, Kymata),characterization of integrated optic devices up to microwave band,preliminary device fabrication using Ti diffusion and proton exchange;optical communications lab with optical spectrum analyser, BER measurement and fiber splicing.
Class1000 and class100 clean room for device fabrication, mask aligner, evaporation, RF sputtering, furnaces, CVD system, Dektak profilometer, 8 inch wafer probe station,C-V and I-v measurement system, ISE Microelectronics simulation suite,Tanner and Mentor Graphics IC design tool suite, Coventorware, Intellisuite and MEMS-pro tools for MEMS design.
